PM Satybaldiyev urges UN agencies to mobilize local communities in their projects
12:57, 22 February 2014, 650

AKIPRESS.COM - b601ee986b576aae06a376a33f2eba0c Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jantoro Satybaldiev has asked UN agencies to mobilize local communities in their programs at the inauguration event of the Naryn region comprehensive development program on February 21.

“When we were restoring Osh and Jalal-Abad cities, small sums were spent for renovation and rehabilitation of irrigation canals,” the Prime Minister said.

The sums for such projects can be small. However, mobilization of local communities will help achieve more, the Prime Minister said.

Mobilization is especially important for irrigation projects. People need to be involved into work. “I do ask you to mobilize local communities,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
