British foreign secretary to visit Kyiv

AKIPRESS.COM - UK flag Britain's Foreign Secretary William Hague told parliament on Monday that he plans to pay a visit to Ukraine soon, reported Interfax.

Hague also expressed concern about the financial situation in Ukraine.

Ukraine's financial situation arouses great concern and it cannot be stable without external aid, he said, adding that he would travel to Washington later on Monday for talks with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.

Aid could be given to Kyiv on condition that it carries out economic and political reforms, Hague said.
