AKIPRESS.COM - At least 8 people were killed in a car bomb explosion in the Syrian city of Homs on March 6, Panorama reported referring to CNN.
The explosion happened in an Armenian district, where the majority of people are Christians and Alawites. The opposition group, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said at least 15 other people were wounded.
The Syrian conflict began in March 2011. Over 100,000 people have died and more than 680,000 have been injured, according to the United Nations. At least 6.5 million have been internally displaced and nearly 2.5 million people have fled to other countries.
