Aksyonov: Crimea to enter Russian legal framework within a matter of months

AKIPRESS.COM - Crimea plans to fully enter the legal framework of Russia within a matter of months if the population of the autonomy makes such a decision on referendum on March 16, Prime Minister Sergei Aksenov told RIA Novosti in an interview.

“If the national referendum says yes to Crimea's joining to Russia, we will work round the clock. We can work and will do everything possible to get into the Russian legal framework as quickly as possible,” he added.

“Certainly, the transition period will still take place, as we'll have to enter the ruble zone, and make all cash settlements including salaries, pensions and allowances,” Aksyonov added.
