AKIPRESS.COM - Russian skiers Rushan Minnegulov and Vladislav Lekomtsev won gold and bronze medals respectively at the Paralympic Games in Sochi, RIA Novosti reported.
They participated in a 20-km skiing classic standing.
Minnegulov finished in 50 minutes 55.1 seconds. The silver medal was won by Finn Ilkka Tuomisto (+36.4 seconds). Lekomtsev lost 49.5 seconds.
Other Russian skiers Kirill Mikhailov took the seventh place, and Vladimir Kononov – eighth one.
In total medal standings, Russia leads with 19 medals. Ukraine is on the second place with 6 medals, and Japan is on the third place with 5 medals.
The 2014 Winter Paralympic Games will complete on March 16.
