Petropavlovsk allocates 14 mln tenge for spring flood elimination

Bishkek (AKIpress) - flood Petropavlovsk city budget has directed 14 million tenge to undertake measures on elimination of spring floods, the press service of the Petropavlovsk administration reported.

The rescuers have switched to the enhanced mode, the daily raids are conducted on possible areas of flooding.

As reported, the city has six areas that are most likely to flooding. The ladders and lights have been installed there. It also has six pumping stations, two more stations are in the process of commissioning.

Petropavlovsk is a city on the Ishim River in northern Kazakhstan close to the border with Russia.
