Train accident in Turkey leaves 9 people dead

AKIPRESS.COM - train crash Turkish Media reports say a train has crashed into a minibus that was carrying personnel to work, killing at least nine people and injuring several others, ABC News reported.

The Dogan news agency says the accident happened Thursday at a level crossing near the Mediterranean port city of Mersin. The cause of the accident was not immediately clear.

The train was traveling from Mersin to the city of Adana, some 100 kilometers east.
