AKIPRESS.COM - The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) is co-organizing a two-day national workshop on countering the use of the Internet for terrorist purposes that will begin on 26 March in Astana, Kazakhstan.
The event will bring together some 60 local and international participants, including experts and representatives of state agencies and civil society. The seminar will focus on countering terrorist use of the Internet, terrorist threats against critical infrastructure and using public-private partnerships to effectively prevent and combat terrorism.
The event is co-organized by the OSCE Transnational Threats Department together with the OSCE Centre in Astana with support from the government of Spain.
