AKIPRESS.COM - Defense Minister of Kazakhstan Adilbek Dzhaksybekov had a meeting with Chinese State Councilor and Defense Minister Chang Wanquan on the sidelines of the SCO defense ministers' meeting in Tajikistan.

The sides discussed current state and prospects for expansion of the Kazakhstan-China military and military technical cooperation.

In the meeting with his Kazakh counterpart, Minister Chang Wanquan confirmed China's participation in the oncoming 3rd KADEX-2014 International exhibition of armament and equipment in Astana in May.

The ministers expressed confidence the mutually profitable cooperation between China and Kazakhstan based on good neighborliness and friendly contacts will continue to flourish, Kazinform reported.
