Bishkek (AKIpress) - The Malaysian cabinet on April 23 approved establishment of an international investigation panel to look into the missing of the plane performing Flight MH370, Vietnam Plus reported referring to Malaysian acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein.
The acting Minister said the main work of the body is to evaluate, investigate and determine the actual cause of the incident in order to avoid similar incidents in future.
The minister also added the Malaysian Government is discussing the expansion of the search area in southern Indian Ocean with Malaysian state oil firm Petronas and other entities.
On the same day, the Joint Agency Coordination Center said some unidentified objects were found on the coast, 10 km east of Augusta, in the south of Australia’s Perth city.
Malaysia Airlines’ MH370 disappeared on March 8 when carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew members. All search efforts have failed to find the jetliner so far.
