Summer mini-library for children and adults opens in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - The summer mini-library for children and adults has opened on the territory of the National Children's and Youth Libration in Bishkek, library deputy director Larisa Kislova told AKIpress.

The mini-library works every day from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm, except for Saturdays and Sundays.

“The summer mini-ground for games and reading has opened with support of the U.S. Embassy. It will work the whole summer and every person may come here to spend his or her leisure time interestingly. We read books to children and play with them, telling about books and the library,” Larisa Kislova said.

The main goal of the ground is promotion of reading and use of libraries.

“We also have wi-fi zone and visitors can freely use it. All visitors or passers by can find something interesting for them,” she stressed.

The summer ground works free of charge.
