Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan consider development of fruit and vegetable processing sectors

AKIPRESS.COM - fruit vegetables2 Final capacity building session on food safety/НАССР (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and marketing in the framework of the Development of Fruit and Vegetable Processing Sector in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan Project takes place in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan on 7-8 July in Dushanbe.

In the framework of the session, the field visit to Hatlon region by all training participants has been organized by the National Association of Small and Medium Business of Tajikistan together with the non-governmental British Expertise and the Association of Food Industry Enterprises of Kyrgyzstan.

The project is aimed at development of small and medium enterprises involved in fruit and vegetable processing sector in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, and on strengthening the capacity of the Business Intermediate Organizations providing consulting services to these enterprises, in order to strengthen their positions in the national, regional and international markets.

Representatives of small and medium enterprises, consulting companies, academic and governmental institutions involved in fruit and vegetable processing sector generally and in food safety control in particular take part in the session.
