Kazakhstan ready to provide Iranian companies incentives to start business in Kazakhstan: Minister

AKIPRESS.COM - mg2 Kazakhstan has high incentives to expand trade ties with Iran and provides Iranian traders with any permit they need to start business in Kazakhstan, Minister of Investments and Development of Kazakhstan Asset Issekeshev told Kazakh-Iranian Business Forum in Tehran on Sunday.

The Kazakh delegation included 260 traders representing various spheres. Issekeshev said Kazakhstan has high incentives to expand trade ties with Iran. “We will provide Iranian companies with any permit they need to start business in Kazakhstan,” Tehran Times cited the Minister as saying.

Some 900 Iranian companies are currently active in different fields, mostly in chemical industries, in Kazakhstan, he noted.

The forum, which will be the largest business event in the history of bilateral Kazakh-Iranian relations, intends to pave the way for the visit of the president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to Iran in April.

“In accordance with the cancellation of economic sanctions, the business forum will significantly expand bilateral trade and economic relations between the two brotherly countries for increasing trade up to 5 billion Dollars in the nearest future,” the ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Iran Bagdad Amreyev said in January.
