Small plane with 23 people on board missing in mountains in Nepal

AKIPRESS.COM - A plane with at least 23 people on board has gone missing in a mountainous area of western Nepal, officials say.

The Twin Otter aircraft operated by Tara Air was traveling from Pokhara to Jomsom when it lost contact with the control tower, media reports say citing officials.

A helicopter search is being hampered by poor weather conditions, the Associated Press reports.
