AKIPRESS.COM - The Mongolian government approved the regulation on consolidated online health insurance archives and the regulation on the design of health insurance smart card, what information it should contain and how it should be used.

The smart card chip will contain personal information, including blood type, allergies, medication, paid insurance premium details, treatment information and health insurance payment data.

The new health insurance smart card will make it possible for medical organizations to transfer information about their patients among themselves, as well as to regulate their service fees.
