Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia sign security agreement

AKIPRESS.COM - Saudi Arabia First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior of Saudi Arabia, Crown Prince Muhammad bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Kyrgyzstan's Interior Minister Melis Turganbayev on May 26 have signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan in the field of counter-terrorism, fight against organized crime, illicit trafficking of drugs and psychotropic substances, anti-corruption and informatics crimes, reports Asharq Al-Awsat.

The agreement was signed following the reception held by the Crown Prince for the Kyrgyz Interior Minister and his accompanying delegation in Jeddah on May 25.

During the reception, they discussed aspects of bilateral relations and ways to strengthen the existing cooperation between them in all fields, particularly in security.
