Proton-M with U.S. Intelsat satellite launches from Baikonur

AKIPRESS.COM - https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CkfbmOVWsAEtr2h.jpgRussian Proton-M rocket carrying a U.S. Intelsat DLA-2 satellite has successfully launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Thursday.

The launch was initially set to take place on Wednesday but was postponed for technical reasons.

​The satellite and a Briz-M upper stage have now separated from the Proton carrier, Roscosmos told RIA Novosti.
