AKIPRESS.COM - The Tokyo University of Foreign Studies has introduced Turkmen language course in accordance with the agreement on academic exchange and cooperation between the International University for Humanities and Development of Turkmenistan and the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies signed during the visit to Ashgabat by Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe in October 2015. It was in the same time that the electronic copies of textbooks and visual aids for studying the Turkmen language were donated to the Japanese university.
The official ceremony marking the start of the Turkmen language teaching in Tokyo was attended by the representatives of the International University for Humanities and Development of Turkmenistan, who presented the Japanese colleagues with another batch of textbooks, manuals and other teaching materials.
The International University for Humanities and Development of Turkmenistan in turn plans to invite a Japanese language teacher from the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and open a Centre of Japanese Language and Culture.
