AKIPRESS.COM - Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon said Thursday that his country fully understands and firmly supports China's positions on the South China Sea issue.

He underlined that Tajikistan opposes any attempt to internationalize the issue.

Rahmon made the remarks during his meeting with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping ahead of the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
