AKIPRESS.COM - President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Board of Directors of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Wang Yilin; Vice-President of PetroChina Company Limited and General Manager of China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Corporation Lv Gongxun; and General Manager of CNPC branch office in Ashgabat Deng Minmin as part of his working trip to Lebap province of Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen leader and his guests exchanged views on the status and prospects of the Turkmen-Chinese partnership in the fuel and energy sector, reports Turkmenistan.ru.

The leaders of the China National Petroleum Corporation briefed the head of state on the pace of work on industrial development of hydrocarbon fields in the contract area Bagtyyarlyk (Happy) and development of Turkmenistan’s largest gas field Galkynysh (Revival).

During the meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan with its significant energy resources consistently implements the strategy of comprehensive development of the national fuel and energy sector that aims at attracting the best international experience and advanced technologies.
