Turkmenistan’s grain growers fulfill state plan on wheat production

Turkmenistan’s farmers have fulfilled their contractual obligations to sell 1.6 million tons of wheat to the state.
This year, 760 000 hectares of land were allocated for winter crops. 562 harvesters were used in the 2016 harvest season.
Farmers were served round-the-clock by 350 mobile repair teams, providing them with fuel, lubricants and spare parts for equipment.
More than 6 900 trucks were used to deliver wheat to 158 collection points, barns and grain elevators.
