Judicial system to be improved along with reforms in law enforcement system – judge

AKIPRESS.COM - rule of law-justice-courtJudicial system in Kyrgyzstan will be improved taking into account reforms in the law enforcement system and the national budget opportunities, said former member of the Kyrgyz Parliament, judge of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union Galina Skripkina on July 26 at the meeting of the working group on development of the draft law on the introduction of the regulatory legal acts as part of the judicial reforms in Bishkek.

"Judicial reform is really important for us. Most of the work has already been done, but we have much work in the framework of the recent changes," said Skripkina.

There are two factors that should be considered in reforming the judicial system, including the need to make reforms in the law enforcement agencies and the financial component, according to her.

Thus, the working group will have to take into consideration the opportunities of the national budget and the international partners, added the judge.
