Wildfire smoke from Siberia reaches Ulaanbaatar

AKIPRESS.COM - fire in gorge While wildfires are raging in the forests of Eastern Russia, the smoke is drifting down to Mongolia, according to News.mn.

Thus, northern regions of Mongolia, especially the cities of Darkhan, Erdenet and Ulaanbaatar have been shrouded in smoke from the Siberian wildfires.

As of July 20, 200 fires were burning over the vast territory of Krasnoyarsk Krai. The smoke covered Irkutsk region and 11 other Russian regions too.
