AKIPRESS.COM - Heavy rain hit the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar at 8.00 pm yesterday, causing floods on the roads. Many of vehicles stuck in the flood water in the eastern parts of the city, according to the GoGo Mongolia.
The City Emergency Management Authority and the Traffic Police Department took the emergency measures in Bayanzurkh district that faced the worst conditions.
Due to hot temperatures, heavy rains have pounded the region within the past days. The residents are warned to use safe bridges, as well as to prohibit their children to play near rivers and not to spend leisure time near rivers either.
