KOICA awards scholarships to 12 Kyrgyz government officials for Master's degree programs at Korean universities

AKIPRESS.COM - KOICA Twelve government officials from Kyrgyzstan have been awarded scholarships to study under Master's degree program at 10 Korean universities, KOICA Office said.

The KOICA Scholarship Awards Ceremony for the selected Kyrgyz government officials took place on July 21.

Korea International Cooperation Agency, government agency for Korea's grant aid, is aimed to develop human resources. As such, KOICA invites talented officials to study in Korea at the recommendation of the State Personnel Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and helps them to build their capacity that will play a key role in development of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The selected government officials were congratulated and welcomed by KOICA Country Director Park Sun-jin, who underlined their key role then in building strong relationships between the Republic of Korea and the Kyrgyz Republic.
