AKIPRESS.COM - On 13 September, Mongolian powerlifter Enkhbayar Sodnompiljee won the bronze medal in the men’s 88-kg weight category of the Rio Paralympics, according to News.mn.
Sodnompiljee has become the first Mongolian to compete in this event.
The sportsman lifted 210 kg and was awarded following the UAE's gold in 220-kg lift and the Brazil's silver in 210-kg lift.
The Rio 2016 Paralympics are being held from 7 September to 18 September in Rio de Janeiro.
