Mongolia, Azerbaijan discuss prospects for cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM - Azeri-Mongol Mongolian Foreign Minister Tsend Munkh-Orgil met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov on the sidelines of the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly, says News.Az.

The sides discussed further development of bilateral relations in various fields, and touched upon bilateral cooperation within international organizations.

Mammadyarov underlined the role of Azerbaijan in connecting European and Asian transport corridors, saying cooperation on development of transport corridors in Eurasia would be fruitful for all landlocked countries.

Munkh-Orgil, in turn, said his country is interested in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan and necessitated more official meetings and sessions.
