AKIPRESS.COM - The Tajikistan Football Federation (TFF) has launched its Live Streaming Platform that enables fans to watch league matches live online.
Tajikistan is the fourth recipient of the Live Streaming Platform – after Bhutan, Oman and Kyrgyzstan – a project under the AFC President’s Initiatives program.
TFF selected the city of Khujand, 300 km from the capital city of Dushanbe, to launch the platform.
Alisher Urunov, Director of the National Football League, said: "In today's world, football cannot only rely on traditional means of communication in order to reach its fans across the globe. We need to embrace modern and latest technologies to make the game reach as many fans as possible even far across.""Tajikistan has a huge community of expats living outside Tajikistan – especially in Russia and Europe. This online platform will enable the fans to watch the games live through a high-quality channel," he added.
