Uzbekistan plans to build 945 multi-storey residential buildings in 2017-20

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan is planning to build 945 multi-storey residential buildings in urban areas during 2017-2020, according to Interim President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Mirziyoyev that the program on construction of the residential buildings is being developed.

He added that 5-, 7- and 9storey buildings will be constructed in Tashkent, capitals and large cities of Karakalpakstan and regions of Uzbekistan for 50,000 families, who need accommodation.

Besides, Mirziyoyev said that about 15,000 new residential buildings based on modern standard projects will be constructed in rural areas in 2017.
