AFC Solidarity Cup: Mongolia defeats Sri Lanka 2-0

AKIPRESS.COM - 1-696x459 The Mongolian national football team is competing in the 2016 AFC Solidarity Cup, which is taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from November 2 to 15, recalls The UB Post.

The Mongolian team is competing in Group B with Sri Lanka, Macau and Laos. The second match of the Mongolian team was against Sri Lanka on November 6, and Mongolia won 2-0.

The Mongolian team's forward Nyam-Osor Naranbold scored both goals.

The team lost their first match against Macau on November 3.

Mongolia will next face Laos.

Group A includes Nepal, Brunei, and Timor-Leste. Brunei is leading Group A, and Macau is currently leading Group B.
