AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia has reported of good wheat and potato harvest, according to News.mn.

This year, Mongolia harvested 460.7 thousand tons of wheat, 153.7 thousand tons of potatoes and 93.5 thousand tons of other vegetables.

Mongolia will thus fully meet the domestic flour and potato demand, but only half of the demand for vegetables.

Mongolia needs nearly 320 thousand tons of wheat annually.
