Kuala Lumpur police rescue 17 Uzbek women from sexual slavery

AKIPRESS.COM - The police of Kuala Lumpur have detained a woman, suspected to be a pimp, and rescued 17 Uzbekistan citizens from sex slavery in Bukit Ceylon on November 8, reported Bernama.

Without divulging the age of the 17 victims, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar confirmed the incident in his official Twitter account today.

He has praised the operation against trafficking in persons and the fight against illicit drug trafficking in this district.
