AKIPRESS.COM - The CIS Executive Committee has included the topic entitled “Turkmenistan – a strategic crossroads of the Eurasian transport corridors” in the agenda of its regular meeting in Minsk.

The Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS member-states to the statutory and other bodies of the CIS had the opportunity to look into Turkmenistan’s international initiatives on stable development of transport in the light of the upcoming Global Sustainable Transport Conference that will be held under the UN auspices in Ashgabat on 26-27 September.

The heads of the CIS Executive Committee, the permanent representatives of the CIS member-states listened to the detailed report delivered by the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the statutory and other bodies of the CIS, Nazarguly Shakulyev, and watched a video film about Turkmenistan’s achievements in the sphere of transport and communications over 25 years of independence, reports Turkmenistan.ru.
