AKIPRESS.COM - Holiday Inn, an American brand of hotels and one of the world's largest hotel chains, has opened a new branch in Mongolia, according to News.mn.
The new 20-floor hotel is located in the Ulaanbaatar's Chingeltei district, not far from the Gandan Monastery and the Mongolian Dinosaur Museum. The new hotel has 169 rooms.
Last year, one of the leading Mongolian companies, the Max Group, signed a contract with the InterContinental Hotels Group which owns Holiday Inn to open the new branch in the Mongolian capital.
The InterContinental Hotels Group has 5,099 hotels in over 100 countries. The Holiday Inn hotel chain alone is represented in more than 80 countries worldwide.
