U.S. proud to be among first countries that recognized independence of Kyrgyzstan: Ambassador
AKIPRESS.COM - U.S. Embassy in Bishkek is celebrating 25 years of diplomatic cooperation between the United States and the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Embassy held a joint conference with the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic on December 2.
“The U.S. is proud to be among the first countries that recognized the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic. Since this country’s independence, U.S. policy toward the Kyrgyz Republic has been based on support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of this country. Our goal is simple and enduring: the success of the Kyrgyz Republic,” said Ambassador Sheila Gwaltney.
