Manas aiport bans Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones on flights
AKIPRESS.COM - Manas International Airport said the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones are banned on all flights.
The ban is in effect from January 1, the press service of the airport said.
The decision was made by the Manas Airport Aviation Safety Committee.
Samsung recalled around 2.5 million phones in September 2016 after complaints of exploding batteries. Later, the company said it would stop Galaxy Note 7 production.
