Putin extends condolences to Atambayev over plane crash

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Russia Vladimir Putin has extended condolences to President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev as the Turkish Airlines' cargo plane crashed into homes in the village near Manas airport.

At least 35 people were killed after the plane crashed into some 15 homes on January 16 morning.

Investigation was launched.

January 17 was announced day of mourning for the victims of the plane crash.
