Hermes releases new collection of its shawls inspired by Kyrgyz traditional patterns

AKIPRESS.COM - French high fashion luxury goods manufacturer Hermès released a new collection of its Carrés Hermès shawls inspired by the Kyrgyz national patterns.

The collection received the name Appaloosa des Steppes. The Appaloosa is an American horse breed best known for its colorful spotted coat pattern.

In Kyrgyzstan, the Appaloosa horse breed is called chaar (spotted in Kyrgyz).

Established in 1837, Hermès is today specializing in leather, lifestyle accessories, home furnishings, perfumery, jewellery, watches and ready-to-wear.
