Top Gear arrives in Kazakhstan
17:00, 06 March 2017, 1582

AKIPRESS.COM - Top Gear presenters Matt Le Blanc, Chris Harris and Rory Reid are expected to tackle the plummeting temperatures of Kazakhstan for their first foray into the 24th season of the much-loved motor show, Daily Mail reported.

The breath-taking segment appears to pay tribute to the road trips of yesteryear as they travel in a trio of taxis – a proper London Black Cab, a Mercedes E-Class and a Volvo V70.

While their secondhand car boast at least 480,000 miles on the clock, new host Rory - who won the public vote to star in the series - admitted that the trip ended up being a highlight as it brought them 'all together really nicely'.

The 27-year-old motoring journalist told Press Association: 'We were in this very unusual place, miles away from home and for the three of us it was the first time we’d actually stood together in front of the camera on location.

'We had no idea what was going to happen or how it was going to turn out, but through that week of shooting I think we ended up doing so many incredible things together, like challenges and races, and having that culminate in this amazing thing at the of the adventure, I think that brought us all together really nicely.'

And it appears that former Friends star Matt formed a 'fondness' for the used cars they purchased for their series of endurance challenges.
