AKIPRESS.COM - The former and incumbent employees of the National Security Committee (GKNB) were found to be trafficking in narcotic drugs, the GKNB said in a release March 8.
The detention was carried out on March 7 together with the GKNB security service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, however how many persons were detained was not immediately specified.
About 7.5 kg of heroin were seized, the statement said.
For an impartial investigation, the criminal case materials were handed over to the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The detainees are held in temporary detention center of Bishkek police department, the statement said.
