6 people dies after truck returning from cemetery rolls down hill in Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Six young people died, 20 others were injured on the way home from the funeral in Dushanbe suburb after the truck rolled down the hill and overturned, reported RIA Novosti with reference to spokesman to the Tajik police Umarjon Emomali.

“All those died were young people, who were returning from the funeral in the cemetery in the suburb of Dushanbe,” he said.

According to the spokesman, the truck was used to transport the deceased to the cemetery.

The young people returned home on the body of the truck. The driver lost control over the vehicle when the brakes failed to work suddenly.

At least 20 people were hospitalized with various injuries.
