Freedom of speech march holders warned to keep order in streets in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - Organizers of the peaceful march for freedom of speech in Bishkek have been warned to keep the order in the streets.

The October district police urged the participants of the peaceful march headed by Edil Baisalov not to enter the roadway and warned of fine otherwise.

The Central Election Commission member Atyr Abrakhmatova, human rights activist Rita Karasartova, Edil Baisalov were among the first to open the peaceful protest today in Bishkek's Victory Park in the morning.

As of 10:20, the number of participants of the peaceful march was growing. Baisalov asked the participants to call their friends and ask them to join the peaceful protest.

MPs Janar Akayev and Natalya Nikitenko, Aida Salyanova, ex-MP Ravshan Jeenbekov then joined the peaceful protest as well.
