AKIPRESS.COM - Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan on March 20, Kremlin said.

“Over these past 25 years, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan have built up significant experience of fruitful cooperation in a wide variety of areas. Moscow and Bishkek work actively together within the Eurasian Economic Union, CSTO, CIS, SCO and other multilateral organisations.

I am certain that we will continue successfully strengthening our strategic partnership and effectively coordinating our efforts to promote mutually advantageous integration in the Eurasian region, and to ensure regional stability and security. This fully meets the interests of the friendly peoples of Russia and Kyrgyzstan," the statement said.
