Life in rural Kyrgyzstan: Jalal-Abad villagers discover ancient jars while digging up grave

AKIPRESS.COM - Villagers in Jalal-Abad region have discovered ancient jars while digging up a grave in  the Seyit-Kazy village of Bazar-Korgon district, Turmush reported.

The unearthed jars supposedly date back to the Middle Ages.

The villagers were able to retrieve the historical finds without damaging them.

The discoveries were handed over to the museum of secondary school #47.

The school principal Akim Saipov says the found jars presumably were used by the Kyrgyz nomadic people. "There is a stigma of craftsmen who made them. We plan to open a museum in the school and the findings will be exposed there," he said.
