AKIPRESS.COM - The national and city councils of war veterans of Tajikistan plan to march on May 9 to remember those who took part in the Second World War, the Asia-Plus news agency reports.
The celebrations of the Victory Day will start early morning in Dushanbe square.
The march will bring together everyone, who will hold photos of their relatives, friends and others who were fighting during the Great Patriotic War.
The Russian Center for Science and Culture in Dushanbe "Rossotrudnichestvo" promised to help in preparation of the portraits of veterans with names.
More than 300,000 Tajikistanis participated in the WW2. One third of them did not return home.
