Woman covers walls of her house with portraits of president Nazarbayev opposing demolition

AKIPRESS.COM - Astana woman covered the walls of her house with portraits of the president Nursultan Nazarbayev in an action to oppose demolition of her house, reports say.

Nesipkul Uyabayeva claims that her house falls under the demolition carried out by the city authorities.

The woman commented to Azattyq that she hanged 91 portraits of the president on the walls of her house to prevent demolition.

"Why did I do this is because the authorities don't fear god, they fear nobody, then let them fear our president. Our president's policy is to make sure our citizens lived well, so that everything was beautiful, on the highest level. But here they are just throwing us out to the street taking over our lands," the woman commented.
