AKIPRESS.COM - Hundreds of people gathered in Tashkent on June 4 demanding authorities to investigate the death of a student, who died a month later in a hospital after being hardly beaten near a medical college.

The 17-year-old Jasur Ibragimov underwent 5 surgeries after the incident, but the student died on June 1.

Police of Tashkent said it launched a probe against several people.

Those gathered in Tashkent requested the police to investigate the death of the teen and signed the letter from the family of Ibragimov to send to the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
