Turkmen sambo wrestlers win 7 gold medals at Asian Championship in Tashkent

AKIPRESS.COM - Turkmen sportsmen won 7 gold, 13 silver and 19 bronze medals at the Asian Sport and Combat Sambo Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

More than 300 sambo wrestlers from 29 countries participates in the competitions.

Sapar Doveltov and Kerimberdy Dovletov (men's up to 62 kg), Muhammet Kosekov (men's up to 68 kg), Rushana Nurjanova (women's up to 56 kg) and member of national team in 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) Gulbadam Babamuratova ( women's up to 52 kg) won gold medals.

Yagmyr Orazdurdiyev and Enish Merdanov (men's up to 52 kg), Kasym Populov (men's up to 74 kg), Elgun Sultanov (men's up to 82 kg), Emin Esenov (men's above 100 kg), Aziza Nazarova (women's up to 48 kg), Solmaz Bozaganova (women's up to 64 kg), Ogulgerek Nurmedova (women's up to 73 kg), Myahri Mulkiyeva and Dilafruz Yusupova (women's up to 80 kg) became silver medalists.

Maksudjan Avlyakuliyev and Eziz Gurbanov (men's up to 57 kg), Kossek kossekov (men's up to 70 kg), Anastasia Zakurdayeva (women's up to 60 kg), Chinar Cherkezova (women's up to 64 kg), Altyn Isaguliyeva (women's up to 65 kg), Yusup Ismailov (men's up to 48 kg), Sapa Sapayev (men's up to 100 kg), Nurberdikhan Orazmammedov (men's up to 82 kg), Nazar Durdiyev (men's above 100 kg), Zyba Orunova (women's up to 68 kg), Abdylla Babayev  (men's up to 68 kg), Serdar Hojamuhammedov (men's up to 90 kg) won bronze medals.
