AKIPRESS.COM - President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon at the tripartite meeting between Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan invited leaders of the named countries to the Tajik holiday Mehrgon (harvest holiday).

During the talks, President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani and Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and President of Tajikistan exchanged views on implementation of joint projects on construction of railways and highways, development of air and telecommunications, the press service of the Tajik President said.

They raised issues of holding joint exhibitions, trade and economic, agricultural and investment meetings.

Rahmon proposed to organize exhibition of agricultural products and handicrafts of Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan during the harvest holiday in Dushanbe this autumn.
