AKIPRESS.COM - The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan plans to open 36 polls abroad during presidential elections, Deputy Chairman of the CEC Abdyjapar Bekmatov told a press conference on July 19.
According to him, 2,300 polls have been set up across the country to date.
The work is carried out in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry of the country, he noted.
The local self-governments of the country offer to open additional polls in the regions, Bekmatov said.
"Taking into account the internal migration, we plan to open additional 27 polls in Bishkek, including 8 in Lenin district, 7 — in Oktyabrsky district, 5 — in Pervomaysky district and 7 — in Sverdlovsky district".
